The weather here is awful today. The pounding rain woke me up shortly after 6:00 this morning. I was hoping to sleep until at least 7:00 after getting up with Addison no fewer than 5 times last night. Hard rain. Rain that made me worry about Scott driving in it to get to work. It was very dense and the news showed some flooded roads around the city. The sky cleared around 8, and then out of nowhere I hear what sounds like tiny pebbles hitting the window. It’s a hail storm. In Texas. In April. This and an earthquake in Indiana? It’s like the end of days!  If frogs start falling from the sky in D.C. this afternoon, we’re packing up the kids and heading for the nearest basement.

Note the clear (ish) sky?

Looks like Rock Salt. It’s not.

Addie Baby watches from the safety of her Jumperoo.

Edited to add: Nevermind, it’s sunny. Looks like a beautiful day! (9:40 AM)
